During your visit

Being well-informed is key to understanding the challenges faced by endangered species and how we can take action to better protect them.

Accredited zoos are exceptional platforms for raising awareness about biodiversity conservation: it is estimated that nearly 700 million people visit a zoo or aquarium each year. That's 700 million opportunities to inspire action for species preservation.

Every day, our animal experts are waiting for you along the trails: come meet them!

Our naturalist interpreters answer the countless questions from visitors and introduce them to species that are often little-known or misunderstood. By skillfully presenting each animal’s unique adaptations and abilities, they excel at sparking curiosity and capturing the audience’s interest.

Whether along a trail, on an elevated platform, with a microphone in hand, at a touch table, or during a guided tour, these passionate animal experts are always eager to share insights about the ecological importance of every species. Getting to know animals and the challenges they face is the first step toward wanting to protect them!
